Music Scholars Nationwide Inc.

About Our Programs

INTEGRATIVE CURRICULUM

Our curriculum emphasizes the needs of the school's academic environment and is designed to enhance learning. Our course integrates musical concepts with early childhood learning standards, such as math, reading, language arts, as well as social and emotional development. The backbone of our curriculum is music!

OUR PARTNERS

We are partnered with Montessori Schools, Bright Horizon centers, local daycare centers, and a variety of other school settings in Chicago area.

ACTIVE MUSIC MAKING

Our classes offer a MUSIC MAKING interactive environment where children explore the world of music through action songs, rhythmic games, chanting and playing instruments, animated story telling and grooving to the beat. Children benefit greatly from being a part of the live music environment, rather then just learning concepts.

PROGRAM RECOGNITION

Our curriculum is designed in collaboration with the Illinois State Board of Education. Music Scholars has been approved in many schools with state-funded programs - with the intent of promoting a higher quality of early childhood education.

AGE-APPROPRIATE PROGRAMS

Our course addresses each stage of a child’s development through the age-appropriate programs (6 months - 5 years old). Each class caters to the needs of the specific age group. Program progressively introduces music learning through a variety of multi-sensory experiences (seeing, hearing, feeling and doing) and by PLAY, while focusing on development of pre-literacy skills.
