Our Philosophy
Music is something that children are intuitively drawn to. As educators we see the excitement and joy that music activities inspire in our children every day. Language development, social interaction, fine motor skills, self-expression, memory skills, problem solving – are all impacted by early music education. Music Scholars philosophy is based on this understanding and we implement it responsibly.
Our Mission and Vision
- We believe in positive power in learning music and learning through the music. We strive to provide the best possible learning environment by engaging kids in an “Active Music Making” that nurtures a joy of learning and helps develop life-long skills.
- Music engages children in language and movement, stimulates thinking and expression, while kids interact socially. We believe that there is no other activity that has such profound benefits in child’s development. It is our goal to make children’s musical experience the most beneficial and interesting.
- Our vision is aligned with the nation’s Education Initiative in promoting higher standards in educational programs and raising awareness of the importance of early childhood music education. We are also actively collaborating with Negaunee Music Institute in the efforts to make education available to underprivileged communities.
